A Transgender Woman on the Internet, Crying is a hyper-pop rave war that colourfully collides love, identity, furries and the transformative power of the trans community.

Avis O’Hara (@theDIYDoll) is the most fabulous and famous trans influencer on the internet. Cutting-edge, left-tube vlogger Corrin Verbeck has had enough. Determined to expose Avis as a comphet, bio-essentialist, TERF-lite traitor, Corrin pretends to befriend her – but the plan backfires spectacularly.

What ensues is all-out transgender cyber warfare as two trans femmes battle to uncover the person behind the internet discourse. But in the chaotic, nuance-free world of the internet, can love possibly triumph over heartbreak, rage and worst of all… crying?

Here are some of the cool things that have happened with the show so far:

  • We have done concerts of the show at Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Chapel off Chapel & The Hayes Theatre
  • Viriginia Gay yapped about how much she loves it
  • I won the APRA Professional Development Award for 2025
  • I have sung the song at a bunch of different places like with Homegrown at Chapel off Chapel:
